Hi Family!!
How are you all?? What´s up with the lack of e-mail huh?? maybe ill get one while I am writing this one who knows. (Note from Teri: I sent him his email at midnight the night before. I’m sad he didn’t get it but just for the record, it’s not my fault! ) Anyway, things are going super good here. We had a good week, and things are getting better. we have alot more success, we have a man who is going to be baptized this sunday. So that is awesome. Actually it is kind of an interesting story. We were going to go by a person´s house that we did a contact with but he wasn´t there so so were just looking for people in like their garage things and we saw this guy and started talking to him and he just invited us in. we started talking and we ended up teaching him the restoration. He said he said he would go to church and he actually did!! (Sounds funny, but pretty much everyone says they will but then they are never there when we go by to pick them up....) So we went by and he was there! we went to church and he loved it!! it was fast and testimony meeting so that was super good. He absolutely loved it. so yeah his name is Rodinele. Also we found a lady and we marked a date with her yesterday so that was really good too!! Unfortunately we had a baptism ready this sunday but the lady tat takes her place on sunday went out and got drunk and then called in sick again! so she couldnt be baptized... grrr.... but yeah.
Hmmm a funny thing happened yesterday, my comp was talking on the phone in a phone booth thingy (it is called a big ear in portugues--oralhão) and a bird pooped a huge ol´poop on him!! he wasnt happy.... we had to go back and change. but hey it was funny!!
But this week i really just learned just how amazing Christ really is. He was the creater of the world, the annointed one, one the right hand of God and he chose to come down and suffer and really live a hard life. And the reason he did it was because of us. Because he loves us and wants us to have the greatest gift possible--eternal life. i am so grateful for my savior for all that he has done for me. and all the he continues doing for me. I know he is the savior of the world, and it is only through him that we can have peace and joy in this life and in the life to come. I love you all!! and ill talk to you guys Sunday!!! wooooooo!!!!
