Hey Família!!!
Honestly today is suuuch a good day!! So first of all, it is pday finally, and it is transfers (hence why i didnt write wednesday) so i got a new comp, elder Denby from Everett washington (by the way, around where does like cousins and stuff live?), and i think this transfer is going to be awesome!! so i am really excited for that, also i got my package finally with my contact solution so that was like the best thing in the world!! and i got your letters!! oh you guys are just such a blessing! So i am very excited for this next transfer he seems very good, very upbeat and just ready to get to work, i like it!! but this week was a tough one, our baptism fell and we didnt have too much success, but dont worry. its all good. that is absolutely sweet that maren is going to the east coast and stuff, miss elite lacrosse player! is it expensive? and what a blessing to not have to play on sunday, it is such a good example for everyone else. oh but i stayed in Paranoá so we will see the difference huh?? who knows?!
And 6 months!!! can you guys believe it?! i couldnt, it goes by soo fast (also so slow... kinda weird) but we went out and celebrated, i got some açai! its super good, they dont have it there... too bad. but its super good. i made some new goals for the next 6 months of my mission and i am determined to really grow alot.
Easter was cool here. some of the members gave us candy and stuff that was cool. We got this big old cookies and cream egg, and some really fancy chocolates (t was like 60 reais) and a BIG chocolate hersheys kiss it was cool! but other than that, it was a normal day! but what a blessing it is to be able to celebrate a holiday like easter, that we have a savior who died for us so that we could be able to be cleansed from sin, and be happy. really is it such an amazing blessing. and it is soo cool that you were able to help a family in need out. very cool and a great blessing to Christ. Oh man michael is leaving this week! he is going to love the mtc! for sure! good luck mikey! Oh and mothers day, so they let us use skype, so you need to make a skype account and then let me know and ill look for a member that i can use it at thier house for mothers day ok? oh that´ll be suer cool! i am excited to talk to you all!!
Woo 70! look out! haha it is like at least 70 everyday here, but i guess we are entering like a cold month where is is just really cold... so ill tell you how it goes... so far... not cold. but hey some brazilians are wearing sweatshirts and stuff... crazy people. But i love being a missionary, i get to see so many miracles, and lives changed, i get to see so many peoples hard lives and get to help them. God really is a god of miracles and of so many tender mercies.
Basically this week was pretty normal, nothing huge happened, but i did learn a lot, it is so cool to see the blessing come after trials huh?? i am excited to tell you all all about next week! its going to be cool! Well family, the church is true! keep going strong, maren keep kicking booty! clara keep doing awesome in colorguard! and mom and dad keep being the best!! love you guys!
