So i hope to hear from you all soon!!! um well i am in the middle of brasilia! the capital city! our area is called asa sul. so south wing. the city is shaped like an airplane so if you look on a map you can actually see my area, we are the `south wing`. My companion is pretty cool, american as you know! i am so glad you got some pictures from silia, she is super nice, she always invites us in and gives us food and stuff! so that is fun!!! well we have been working HARD this week!! we dont really have a teaching pool here because it is like the 3rd hardest area in the mission so we pretty much spent all week contacting and trying to find people to teach! we decided that we walk at least 18 miles a day!!!!nuts huh!! because an average person walks 3 miles/hr and we walk at least 6 hours a day!!! so yeah... it is nuts! i can say i have never been sore from walking, but i definitely was this week!! my feet havent been a problem! the priesthood is great huh??? (Note to friends reading this – Spencer has had problems with his feet for several years – flat feet – gives him pain. He got a blessing before he left). well lets see.... tuesday we got to the apartment (which really isnt too bad, a little small for 4 guys but hey we arent there much ) adn then i changed out of my suit and we went out and did contacting!! we wanted to get 40, because that is our daily minimum! so we went out!! haha we did it but we had to run home to get in on time!! (930) so that was fun!!! wednesday we did more contacts but went to eat at silvias and she made some really good food and then had ice cream and cake for dessert!!! it was super good! then guess what we did?!?! contacts!!! haha!! so we got 40 again!! thursday we had lunch at a families house and did contacts.... (sorry this must be really boring) then friday we had a zone study so our whole zone got together at our chapel (which i know where it is because we tall so many people fica em 913 sol) anyway. and we talked about zone goals and how we can do better and stuff, which was really good so i liked that! then went out and ate (sometimes the members give is money instead of feeding us in their houses, i guess its fine with the pres. soooooo we always go to this charrascaria) its liek an all you can eat grill. its good!!! im afraid to get fat!!! and we had açaì!! That was fun!! its this weird purple fruit but it was like a smoothie thing..... idk. well ok basically we did contacts all week!! but i can tell you all that the Lord blesses us for hard work because unlike last week where we had no one to teach this week we taught 3 lessons yesterday, and one fell. we have one lesson tonight, and 2 tomorrow and 1 Thursday!!! so this is all true! the Lord tries our faith then blesses us! great!!! so about one of the lessons yesterday. we were meeting this guy named marcelo. he is super cool. 25 years old. we met him in the street. well we get there and he was there and his mom too!! so we invited his mom to sit with us and stuff which was cool! and as we were teaching he (marcelo) was sooo fixed in what we were saying and he was asking questions it was good, but his mom was very closed. she is a very firm catholic. so we challenged him to read and pray and he said he definitely would. and then we asked hsi mom and she said something kinda like well i dont know, because i already have my religion and i know which one i should be in, something like that and i think that put marcelo off because then we asked him like if he received an answer would he follow that response (which is leading to a baptismal question) and he was like welll.... i dont know... i would have to see how my family thinks and stuff..... so booo.... anyways we will call him wednesday to see how it all went. welll i dont know how much more time i really have but i have some questions for you guys!!!
Mom could you send me the recipe for homemade bread? my comp wants to make some. ...i cant remember... dang. well how are you guys!! keep writing! i love you all i miss you all!! i hope everything is going super good!! ohhhhh tell me about Christmas and new years and your new years resolutions! and how is everyone? has lacrosse started? And jazz competitions? been working out everyday still? how was Christmas break??? well love you all!! hopefully ill get some cards soon!!! the biggest lesson i learned is this, when we pray for stuff we have to do everything we can to make it happen. when we do this God will do the rest. this is evidence from all the people we met and got addresses and yeah!!! super cool!! love ya!

P.S. Oh really quick i finished my president letter and i remembered!!! I am craving some american candy, like mike and ikes.... :D haha and yeah. ok bye!
