Well i have been great! i love it here in Paranoá, its such a different place than Asa Sul. so.... i definitely was told that Easter was this Sunday and then later that week i found out.... i was like `Oh no I’m going to look like such a dork!! I told my parents happy Easter!! oops... oh well i am getting used to looking like a dork, with the funny accent and all. well of course they celebrate Easter here... i don’t know how exactly yet but I’ll let you guys know! oh man so it was stressful because we had to get all 4 bags on the bus, and the drivers are CRAZY!! so... yeah that as fun. Haha yes and i got to see general conference... it was such a mess. So we went Saturday and nobody came!!! oh man so we were running around trying to find people to go and stuff, and then we watched but it was in portugues, so I’ll have to wait to be able to read them in English but... yeah. and then Sunday was terrible!!!!! so we got there in the morning and there were investigators and stuff, and the satellite stopped working so they tried to stream it from a computer but it was lagging and stuff. basically we sat for 2 hours waiting for it to get fixed.. embarrassing!! and then the night time, we just watched the morning one from that day because it was on the internet. so i didn’t see the 2nd session. bummer. so it was just a big mess, and we had to wear jackets so it was quente demais!!!! oh well! well i don’t have much more time, but i had a cool experience yesterday. So last night we had this absolutely crazy drunk guy talk to us... and he was like kissing my shoes and bowing to me and stuff (yes very drunk) and like wanting me to bless a stuffed lion because it is a symbol of Christ and stuff. and asking me to speak in like Hebrew the language of Christ and stuff... weird. but then he started telling us about his life.. and it was soooooo hard, he just had a terrible life and then this thought came into my head "i suffered for him" and it really just hit me hard. That’s what a mission is about, that’s what this gospel is about, helping people find peace, to know joy, and it is only through Christ. I learned a big lesson on not judging people, because we are all sinners, we all make mistakes, who am i to say or think wrong about people. that’s not why i am here. my purpose is to bring people to Christ not decide who deserves it and who doesn’t. so that was cool. Anyway family, i love you guys so much, and i miss you like crazy!! always be strong! we really have something special in our lives, so be able to know where to go for peace, to know for a fact that we will be a family forever. so many people don’t know, it is so sad to me, it breaks my heart. what would it be like to be part of a family that did not go to church together, did not know why we are here, did not know the amazing blessing that are to come in the next life, did not know that we could be an eternal family. can you imagine?? anyway i know this church is true, do all you can to help others have this amazing blessing in their lives too!!! i love you guys!!
