Well another week gone!! geez the weeks just fly by!!! this week especially just flew by.... it was kinda weird. it seemed like it was just last week that i needed to go get febreeze for my room! now my great roommates are gone! i really liked them!! one spoke english pretty well so that was nice and the other played professional soccer for 2 years for a team in manaus. pretty cool! he had to stop though because he hurt his knee and had to have an operation on it. bummer! but it is good he is out here in the mission! well we got a bunch of new missionaries this week. 3 are going to Brasilia!! yay!! finally someone going there with me!! and the elder going there (the other 2 are sisters) we call each other futuro conpanheiro!! pretty sweet! he is a cool guy!!! and actually there is a new elder from brasilia so i talk to him a lot ot get some insights. i guess the people in the actually city are a little prideful but he said all the people on the outside are super super nice!! and he said the food is great! and actually his accent isn’t too bad! i can pretty much understand all that he says! so that is super nice!
Well what have you guys been up to!?!?! we haven’t gotten any mail for like all this week.... pretty sad! ahaha!! so i am guessing pretty soon we will just get a whole ton, because i know my mommy writes every day!!! Oh by the way thanks for the 24 days of Christmas thing! i love them!!! i especially loved the one with the song lyrics, mom, about if we have room in our inn. super good! i am bummed i cant see the video, but hey im out here living it right??? this Friday we are going protheliting! brenna did last week and she did super good! don’t expect that good from me! she speaks really well!! but i guess we have different goals and blessings! what a testimony on blessings huh?!?!?! brenna is way better than any other american here at portuguese!! that’s ok!! its cool! i will have 6 more months to practice than her so ill catch up! well sunday we watched the Christmas 1st presidency devotional, oh man it was super good! i would recommend everyone to watch it if you haven’t!!! superb!! i love learning about the savior and His impact on us. I was thinking (because they told us to ponder the influence of Christ in our lives) just how much He has done for us. first we wouldn’t be a part of this church because Dad wouldn’t be a member. I know for sure I wouldn’t be out here, grandma and grandpa wouldn’t. pretty much our whole lives would be different. we would be going to different schools. who knows if we would be good kids or not. maybe you guys would drink. just a ton of things that make up our lives we get from Christ!!! and then think of what He did for the world! He was born for one purpose to save the world from their sins because He loved us! how amazing! and he completed that take with perfect obedience! can you think of any better gift then the ability to one day live with God, our family, exalted and finding perfect and pure joy?!?!?! i cant! i think that is the whole message of this church. yes the restoration is a big part, but what was the restoration of?!?! Christ’s church!!! His church is about having joy in this life and in the next!! awesome! I am grateful for that!! well this week was pretty average! i has been raining ALOT!!! we have had probably 3-4 thunderstorms this week and that usually means power outages.... the only problem with those is then we have to reset the clocks!!!! haha but they do a good job of getting the light back on quick, i bet this place has generators. What would i do if the power went out right now?:1?!?!?! (knock on wood) Well what have you guys been up to?? when does school get out? are lights up?? any parties? what are your guy´s christmas plans?? i guess we get to play games on christmas??/ oh by the way, did i read that you guys sent up a package or something??? idk. just wondering. and have lots of ice cream! oh and they did decorate for us, i am hopefully printing out some pictures today for you all!! but you wont get them for a while.... sorry! but they put lights up all in the garden, and the auditoriums has like 3 christmas trees all decorated and its decorated in there some with the cafeteria!!! so its pretty cool!! we are getting a new american, 2 actually tomorrow and one will be in our district so ill tell you how that is next week! he will be in my companionship so!!! yep!! Well once again this church is true!!! it is the only true church on the earth because it contains the fullness of the gospel, Christ´s gospel! And it is our job to share that with the world!!! I love you guys!! hopefully i get all your letters soon!! i miss you! have a great week!!! 2 weeks until i am on a place to Brasilia! Stay strong family! im praying for you all!! (sorry for all the typos..... oops! i dont have time to go back and change them though.... sorry mommy, i know those bug you!!!!) :) well have a super week!!!
